Our library is a special place
Where we love to go
It has things to entertain us
And teach us as we grow.
With a wealth of information
And a librarian who is so kind
We enjoy being in the library
As we improve our minds.

Ships and castles and monsters
Bugs and bikes and cars
Horses and cats and dogs
Rockets to take me to Mars.
All kinds of things await me
And I can try them without a care
It's all as safe as it can be
For my library holds them there!

Who watches over our books each day
The one who lets us take them home
Making sure no books go astray!

Who protects each cover and spine
Making sure that when they are returned
They each one look just fine!

Who keeps us up to date
On knowing the newest things to read
And that we don't return them late!
