My heart has a voice
That it uses to sing
It knows the words
Of love songs and things...
It knows the words
To songs of friends
It knows songs of blessings
Without any end...
But sometimes in times
Of hurt and distress
My heart forgets the song
That it once knew the best...
And in those trying times
Lord, I turn in faith to you
And ask You to restore my song
