Today
I'm going to concentrate
On being happy today
And on brightening the path
Of others who come my way.
I'm going to be kind today
To people I meet and greet
And I won't say anything at all
If I can't say something sweet!
I'm going to be wise today
And learn from those around me
For I know that in my world
Wise people may surround me.
I'm going to be myself
And not pretend or put on airs
But will just try to be a better me
As I attend to my daily affaris.
